This seven module online course looks at resilience from two perspectives – that of ourselves as practitioners, and that of the clients we work with. We’ll be drawing on evidence-based practices in looking at tools we can use ourselves and pass on to others.
It involves a series of seven 75 minute webinars on Thursdays starting at 8pm UK time, at fortnightly intervals from May 2nd 2019. All the webinars are recorded, making it easy to watch them if you miss the live event. The course also includes access to an online resource hosting the recorded webinars, plus additional videos, articles, downloadable handouts and a discussion forum.
The course is introduced by a free webinar at 8pm UK time, for an hour, on 18th April 2019. You can register for the Resilience Practitioner Training for Counsellors and Psychotherapists at this link
The course and free webinars are led by two leading practitioners
Chris Johnstone is author of Seven Ways to Build Resilience. With a background in medicine and psychology, Chris worked as a group therapist in the UK National Health Service for many years. He now teaches resilience online at CollegeOfWellbeing.com
